Deployment…………not again.

Deployment is around the corner again. What………no can’t be.

Desert Storm

I was a Soldier in Aug 1990, I became a mother in April 1990. I was deployed to Desert Storm. My son was 4 months old. When I returned my son was 11 months old. My now 19 year old son recentlly enlisted and will deploy in ********. My son is very naive’. He has not been close to the Army environment ever.  Jacob is an proud Infantry Man, deploying with a lot of Signal people. He is so proud. He can be proud if he wants to be. What this tells me is he will have a lot of guard duty.
